Thai vs Oil Massage: Which One Is Right for You?
One of the most common questions new guests ask is: "Should I book Traditional Thai or Aromatic Oil?" Both are wonderful — they just do different things.
Traditional Thai Massage
Performed fully clothed on a soft floor mat. Ying uses thumbs, palms, elbows, knees and feet to apply rhythmic pressure along the body's energy lines, combined with assisted stretching that resembles passive yoga.
*Best for:* athletes, runners, people with stiffness or limited mobility, anyone wanting an energising, restorative experience. After a session you typically feel longer, lighter and more awake.
Aromatic Oil Massage
Performed on a heated table with warmed essential oils. Long flowing strokes, kneading and gentle pressure work directly on muscle tissue. Closer to Swedish massage but with Thai precision.
*Best for:* deep relaxation, stress relief, dry skin, people who prefer a softer experience or want to fully drift off. Most guests feel beautifully sleepy afterwards.
Can't decide?
Try our **Ying Signature** package — 120 minutes that blends Thai stretching, oil massage and a warm herbal compress. It's the most popular choice for first-time visitors who want to experience the full range.
